If you're camping, you can arrive Friday night. If you're coming for the day, plan to get to the farm around noon.
The ceremony will be around 2pm, followed by dinner, socializing, dancing, and some surprises. Most guests will head to their hotels Saturday night. If you’re camping, you’re welcome to stay through Sunday morning for breakfast.
In Freeburg, MN. Check out the Location & Lodging page for all kinds of info.
In a tent, in a hammock, in a hotel - it's up to you! Check out the Location & Lodging page for all kinds of info.
This is an outdoor July wedding in Minnesota, so dress for the weather. We'd recommend comfortable shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, and layers.
This is a BYOB event - we'll be providing Saturday dinner (+ Sunday breakfast if you camp), snacks, a Spotted Cow keg, and a ton of sparkling water, but encourage guests to bring any food/beverage they would like for their time out at the farm. This is a farm wedding; there is no bartender. Please don't get super drunk!
If valet parking means parking in a field, yes.
Guests will park in the hay field and walk down the driveway to the festivities. We will have a motorized cart for folks with mobility concerns.
Rain or shine, we're doing this. If there was light rain, we would shift to getting married under the big tent. If there is a tornado, we'll head down to Freeburg Community Hall (where Charlie had their 4H meetings).
Whatever you want. We really mean it.
Whoever we addressed the invitation to is who we’re inviting. If you think we left someone off or made a mistake, reach out to us.
Absolutely. This is a kid-friendly wedding. If you’d like to be connected with other families ahead of time, let us know.
This is a dog-free wedding. Please don’t bring your dog.
You don’t have to, but if you’d like to, here’s a link to our registry.
Please let us know on your RSVP form. We’ll have a dinner on Saturday that accommodates your dietary needs.
