Saturday, July 11, 2026.
If you're camping, you can arrive Friday night. If you're coming for the day on Saturday, come anytime after noon.
The ceremony will be at 4pm, followed by dinner, country dancing, and some surprises. Most guests will head to their hotels Saturday night. We'll have a breakfast on Sunday morning for all campers and any folks who want to come back out to the farm.
In Freeburg, MN. Check out the Location & Lodging page for all kinds of info.
In a tent, in a hammock, in a hotel - it's up to you! Check out the Location & Lodging page for all kinds of info.
This is an outdoor July wedding in Minnesota, so dress for the weather. We'd recommend comfortable shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, and layers.
This is a BYOB event - we'll be providing Saturday dinner (+ Sunday breakfast if you camp or want to come back out), snacks, a Spotted Cow keg, and a ton of sparkling water, but encourage guests to bring any food/beverage they would like for their time out at the farm.
If valet parking means parking in a field, yes.
Guests will park in the hay field and walk down the driveway to the festivities. We will have a motorized cart for folks with mobility concerns.
Rain or shine, we're doing this. If there was light rain, we would shift to getting married under the big tent. If there was a tornado, we've booked Freeburg Community Hall (where Charlie had childhood 4H meetings) as a back-up.
Whatever you feel good in. We would love for you to have fun and wear festive dressy casual (Relle put together this board for inspiration). It will be an outside wedding in July, so we recommend functional shoewear, layers, and some sort of sun/bug protection. You'll want shoes that are good on uneven ground (like flats or boots) and walking on grass. Make choices that make you feel most comfortable! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Absolutely. This is a kid-friendly wedding. If you’d like to be connected with other families ahead of time, let us know.
We are haunted by the story of one of Charlie's parents' friends' dogs barking through their whole ceremony. This is a dog-free wedding. Please don’t bring your dog.
You don't have to get us a dang thing; just coming out to the farm to celebrate with us is more than enough.
If you really want to get us something, we put together a list of items. We also love functional items made by our friends or just a nice handwritten card.
Please let us know on your RSVP form. We’ll have a dinner on Saturday that accommodates your dietary needs.
